EnLightenments was established in 1979 at 1042 Beacon Street in Brookline MA.

     In 2006, the front part of our store was leased to MOON CLEANERS and the rear of the store turned into a lighting sales room. Our repair studio is located in Dover MA. We use only the best equipment and tooling in our custom built workshops for the polishing and welding of lamps and accessories by our highly skilled craftsman. Our large inventory of both new and antique lamps and parts are immediately available. With these resources we are able to perform high quality restoration work including metal polishing, welding, soldering and fabrication needs. Custom handmade lampshades in any fabric or design can be fabricated by our skilled associates.

     We believe we carry the most extensive inventory in New England and have the facilities needed to restore these items to their original condition. We only use UL approved materials and test all of our electrical repairs with a Hi-Pot tester. We can convert European wiring to American standard and we repair most halogen lamps. We can convert gas or oil lamps to electric and we fabricate wall sconce mount plates customized for the individual piece.

     We feel, and our customers agree, that we do the best work in the area. Restoration work itakes time to achieve and is extremely time consuming.
